J-Plasma Renuvion uses incredibly precise cold energy to turn back the hands of time and dramatically reduce the signs of aging. While the J-Plasma Renuvion Face procedures use cold plasma energy under the skin, J-Plasma skin resurfacing can also be used on the surface of the skin to tighten the face.

J-Plasma Renuvion Skin Resurfacing Treatment

J-Plasma Renuvion skin resurfacing uses a cold plasma energy to promote skin tightening and rejuvenation, as well as encouraging your skin to regrow new cells. Utilizing ionized helium gas, Dr. Mittelman is able to ablate tissue at an extremely low, controlled temperature. This allows for minimal collateral damage to surrounding tissue.

This plasma is different from the plasma that we use for our PRP Treatments which is the platelet rich plasma found in our blood. With the cold plasma energy of J-Plasma skin resurfacing we can treat delicate areas such as the eyelids without causing damage to surrounding treatment area.

Recovery after Renuvion Skin Resurfacing

Initial swelling and bruising can take one to three weeks to resolve and final results are seen several months following the procedure. J-Plasma skin resurfacing can cause pinkness for six to ten weeks post procedure. Make-up can easily cover this pinkness. Patients can take over the counter Tylenol to treat minor discomfort.
