OUR SURGERY CENTER: MITTELMAN PLASTIC SURGERY
PRIVACY, SAFETY, AND QUALITY
Our surgery center is state-of-the-art, and fully accredited surgery center on Altos Oaks Drive in Los Altos includes a waiting area and courtyard for family members and friends, a pre-operative holding area and a recovery area. The surgery center is operated by a full-time nursing staff and an MD anesthesiologist. It is devoted exclusively to facial plastic surgery. This combination of location, facility, and specialized personnel maximizes our patients’ privacy, safety, comfort and overall quality of care. We look forward to providing you with the best surgical experience possible! Any surgeries requiring general anesthesia are performed at the Los Altos Surgery Center that is located conveniently across the street from our office.
All procedures under local anesthesia are performed at MPSC ~ Mittelman Plastic Surgery Center including the MMMT, Mittelman Horizontal Neck Lift, Blepharoplasty, and Facelifts.
ANESTHESIA
Whenever we choose to perform surgery using general or IV anesthesia, we do so with three goals in mind: maximize safety, maximize comfort and maximize results. For these reasons, we employ a full-time, board-certified, physician-anesthesiologist who personally handles all anesthesia in the surgery center. Every patient who will be under general or IV sedation anesthesia will meet with our anesthesiologist prior to surgery to discuss any questions or concerns. Particular attention is addressed toward avoiding any post-operative discomfort or nausea.
The combination of a board-certified anesthesiologist specializing in plastic surgery anesthesia and a state-of-the-art outpatient surgical center helps us create the best possible environment for safety and comfort.
Most surgeries are performed inside our office at the Mittelman Plastic Surgery Center.
