- No-Scar Rhinoplasty
The nose is the center of the human face, and the feature perhaps most closely associated with what we call “character.” Alteration of its shape must always be handled with great care, subtlety, and artistry or no form of cosmetic surgery will so influence the way a face is perceived. Along with the eyes and mouth, and chin, the nose forms a constellation of character.
Dr. Harry Mittelman has earned particular distinction for his Scar-less Rhinoplasty expertise. Dr. Mittelman has been performing Scar-less Rhinoplasty for the past 35+ years. As an alternative to the traditional “open” structure rhinoplasty (which is an invasive procedure requiring an incision in the skin on the under surface of the nose), the scar-less endonasal rhinoplasty is performed within the nose itself, so there is NO VISIBLE SCAR!
This procedure can be combined with other procedures (such as septoplasty or turbinate reduction) to improve nasal airways. Dr. Mittelman works closely with rhinoplasty patients, ensuring that refinements not only look natural, but that they match the individual’s other facial features and personality. He notes rhinoplasty is a relatively painless procedure that he performs on an outpatient basis in his state-ficensed and certified facility.
